missingWrote a review on Jan 09friendly staffshared kitchenspacious roomlong check-indirty wallsnoisy air conditioning
We had a family trip and stayed in a 5-Bed Room. The staff greeted us warmly, and that was a nice touch. The shared kitchen on the ground floor worked well for us. We had plenty of room to sit together after exploring. However, check-in was a hassle. We arrived at 2 PM but had to wait nearly 50 minutes for our room because it wasn’t ready. A mix-up gave us a room that was already occupied! The air conditioning in our room struggled to keep us cool. It was unbearably hot the first night, making it hard to sleep. Once we finally got to open the windows, things improved a ton. The noise from other guests could be distracting as well. The breakfast was decent, but the cleanliness and maintenance left much to be desired. Some areas felt neglected, like the dirty walls and noisy air conditioning. If improvement can be made on the check-in process and room upkeep, this place would shine more brightly.

great access to olympiapark and city highlights for weekend strolls
I loved how easy it was to reach Olympiapark, just a short walk away, giving me direct access to beautiful park views and fun activities. With the tram station nearby, I could quickly hop on to explore other iconic sites in Munich, making my solo travels smooth and enjoyable.

Modern facilities create a fresh atmosphere, making every corner feel vibrant. The shared kitchen on the ground floor is functional, allowing for a bit of creativity with family cooking sessions.
Elevators are often busy, leading to frustrating wait times, especially during peak hours. The communal kitchen leaves a lot to be desired due to its disrepair, with low water pressure hindering cleanup efforts and dirty dishes piling up. Some guests noted that room cleanliness wasn’t up to par, with undesirable dust lurking in corners and unwashed linens. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning made for stifling nights, while the inability to fully open windows added to the discomfort.

The communal kitchen was convenient, but cleaning supplies were scarce. It was surprisingly comfortable despite the filthy hallways and lifts.

The nearby Yee Chino Restaurant stole the culinary show with its zingy flavors and delightful dishes, while the cozy atmosphere at Zur Geyerwally is perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The challenge of the shared kitchen at the hotel sparked some fun family cooking sessions!
The cleanliness of the rooms was a total letdown—unwashed linens and floors that could use a solid scrub left me yearning for freshness. Plus, the check-in experience felt chaotic, with staff unable to accommodate our needs efficiently.
